Meet the Sacramento Fire Department and Community Foundation team!

Robert Ross, Chair, Board of Directors

Rob has been a member of the Sacramento Fire Department CERT program since 2008, serving as Rapid Deployment Team leader, CERT Instructor, Battalion Captain, Assistant Chief of Operations, and now Chief of Operations. Rob took on a support role with the Sacramento Fire Department and Community Foundation in 2015, and began serving as Chair of the Board of Directors in 2017.
Rick Pixley, Vice Chair

After 33 years in telecommunications, Rick joined the Sacramento Fire Department Community Emergency Response Team in the fall of 2013. After basic training, he continued with the additional training offered by Sacramento CERT eventually becoming an Emergency Medical Responder. Rick also holds the B Shift Operations Chief position for Sacramento CERT.
